BEACH ACCESS

From the pool terrace, step down the unassuming coral staircase through private gates to reach the lapping azure ocean. Alleyne’s Bay is the perfect beach for a morning stroll, an afternoon paddleboard session or an impromptu snorkel with turtles. Nearby beach bars are stumbling distance away. But in case you want to stay close to home, staff are always nearby, ready to serve you refreshing cocktails while you soak up some sun or float in the warm turquoise water. When it’s time to retreat, a fresh-water shower awaits you atop the stairs.

While there are no privately owned beaches in Barbados, the pristine sandy stretch at Blue Lagoon will feel like your own. The natural formation of coral bordering the property provides added discretion.
